Some say it was divine intervention. Others know it was the tenacity of our Founder and President, Gus Rubio, that opened the doors of The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel just in time for its inaugural Easter service almost three decades ago.

Due to a tragic turn in the weather, the Gabriel Builders team faced a tight timeline to complete the iconic chapel. But as Gus explains, they kept the faith, and a promise to the pastor.

(Thanks to Gus and our leadership staff for the recent tour of the Glassy Chapel at its breathtaking landmark location in the Blue Ridge Mountains.)

At our Reserve retreat the great room ceiling features an impressive use of reclaimed timber beams inspired by the hull of an old legendary wooden ship.

Between the main living areas on the first floor are gorgeous operable interior transom windows that welcome plenty of natural light.

The great room flows into a captivating kitchen that features a grand pewter island, perfect for meal prep or conversing with family or friends.
