Bats issues are more common than people think. People often find droppings outside of their house or in the attic and assume they are rodent droppings.
Bats are pretty easy to get rid of if you do it right.
One way doors should be installed at the entry point(s). This will allow bats to leave.
Exclusion needs to be done to close off all other access points/ possible access points, otherwise they will more to a different location on the structure.
When hiring someone make sure you get a 1-2 year warranty on exclusion, so if they do find another way in you don't have to pay for the same thing again.
Once bats are excluded it is not uncommon for them to move into a neighbors house.
It is cheaper to prevent issues than it is to correct them.

It's impossible to get bored in this field, one of the many reasons I love my job.
Yesterday I had an appointment for ants. The lady said she had something on her roof, she asked if I could check it out. I put the ladder up and discovered a raccoon had ripped off a section of the ridge vent to gain access into the attic.

Access points aren't always obvious when just walking around the structure doing a visual inspection. It's important to inspect all areas from the foundation to the roof.

Wildlife was entering the attic space via gap between brick and fascia board. Installed a 1 way door for wildlife to leave. Bent metal coil to hug the brick and wrap around fascia giving a clean finish and keep critters out.

Vent hasn't worked in years, critters started using it as an access point. We did exclusion around the structure and stopped critters from entering.

As stinging insect season is going into full force, here is your friendly reminder:
If you see wasps/bees entering the structure (behind siding, around windows, roof line, cracks in the foundation) do NOT tblock off the area, they will not just die or go away. There can be 100s-1000s out of sight. This can push them deeper into the structure.
If you cannot see the hive/nest do NOT spray with wasp/hornet spray.

I need some help. I have a client with a 13-14 year old siamese cat that needs a home. (Client had to go to assisted living. No family can take the cat).
Does anyone know anywhere that can take the cat? If its a rescue happy to do a donation.

UPDATE: Cat was captured and animal friends of irwin was able to take her in!
