Today’s project: a massive spruce with 8 huge tops all competing out of the same trunk. We took it down safely piece by piece.

First off, Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms out there.

We want to thank everyone who took the time to submit nominations for our Mother’s Day tree removal giveaway. Reading through all of the stories was honestly incredibly difficult. There were so many deserving entries, and it made choosing just one winner nearly impossible.

Because of that, we decided we are going to do TWO free tree removals instead of one.

Our first winner is the Port family. After years of struggling to conceive, they recently welcomed their miracle baby girl extremely early at just 27 weeks. Their daughter had to be life flighted, and they’ve been going through a tremendous amount both emotionally and financially. We’ll be removing the large hazardous maple tree hanging over their home.

Our second winner is Kim from Embarrass. Kim was recently hospitalized with sepsis, and both her and Joel have been dealing with health issues that have made it difficult to take care of a storm-damaged tree that recently came down on their property. We’ll be taking care of that cleanup for them as well.

There were many other nominations that truly stood out to us as well, and we honestly wish we could do them all.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there from Vermilion Tree Service⁠!

Today is the final day to get nominations in for the Mother’s Day tree giveaway. We’ll be choosing the winner tonight at 6pm.

If you know a mom who has a dangerous, dead, or problem tree on their property and could truly use the help, nominate them in the original post. It can be your mom, your wife, your grandma, a friend, or even yourself.

There’s been some really great stories shared already, and we’d love to see a few more before we make the final decision tonight.

Add a picture of the tree if possible
We’ll be reading through all of them this evening before choosing the winner.

Reminder that our Mother’s Day Tree Removal Giveaway ends Sunday at 6pm.

If you know a mom around the area that could really use help with a dangerous or problem tree, nominate her on the original giveaway post linked below. It doesn’t have to be your mom either. It can be a friend, neighbor, grandma, coworker, or anyone you think deserves it. You can even nominate yourself.

Just include a picture of the tree and a little bit about why they deserve it.

There’s still time to get nominations in before we choose a winner on Mother’s Day.

Quick update on the Mother’s Day tree giveaway.

We’ve got a few nominations so far, and a couple of them are pretty solid.

But I know there’s more out there.

If you’ve got a mom in mind that’s dealing with a sketchy tree or just could really use the help, go nominate her on the ORIGINAL post.

Important—make sure it’s on the original post or I probably won’t see it. Some are getting buried on shared posts.

FREE TREE REMOVAL – Mother’s Day Giveaway

With Mother’s Day coming up, we want to do something to help someone in the community.

We’re going to give away one free tree removal for a mom who has a tree that’s become a real issue or concern, but hasn’t been able to get it taken care of.

We know this kind of work isn’t cheap, and a lot of times it just keeps getting put off. We’d like to take care of it for someone.

How to enter:
