That’s how you clean up your old fence lines

Brush trucks drive to the fire to put the wet stuff on the red stuff. Slow and cautious watching the terrain for possible washouts and sudden drop offs.
Just like Shark Week, sometimes the danger lurks below the surface!
While working on the fire off Albion Parvin Road, our crew picked up some extra hardware. One of those dangers; an old downed wire fence lurking next to the ground popped up and grabbed out drive shaft and wrapped itself into a mess!
Luckily, the truck and all inside were able to finish working on the fire and make it home safely. Low visibility due to smoke and driving through fields definitely creates unique obstacles.
So, if you notice a fire truck down at the local repair shop, yes, that’s ours, and it will be back in service shortly! In the meantime, we have other available apparatus to respond to calls and of course our amazing mutual aid partners.
