NOW HIRING — MULTIPLE POSITIONS
Innovative Lawn & Landscape is growing, and we’re looking to add multiple motivated, experienced people to our team.
We have a very busy schedule through the remainder of 2026 and are already lining up projects for spring 2027. This isn’t one or two positions — we are willing to hire multiple qualified people across several areas of the company.
CONSTRUCTION / EXCAVATION
We are looking for another foremen for a second crew and experienced construction laborers with knowledge or experience in:
* Excavation & site development
* Drainage & stormwater systems
* Civil/site construction
* Foundation excavation & preparation
* Utility work
* Site layout & grading
* Retaining walls
* Sidewalks & concrete preparation
* Equipment operation
* General construction/site work
For our foreman-level positions, we need people who understand how to run a job site — someone who can look ahead, understand the order of operations, coordinate manpower and equipment, solve problems and make good decisions quickly under pressure.
WHAT MAKES OUR CONSTRUCTION DIVISION DIFFERENT
At the end of the day, we are still a landscape company — and finish quality matters to us.
We’re not looking to be the site-work contractor who completes the excavation, leaves a mess behind and expects someone else to come in and make it look good.
One of our biggest advantages is our ability to take a project from raw site work all the way through the finished landscape.
We can excavate it, install the drainage and utilities, build the walls, establish the grades, construct the hardscape, install the soil, plantings and lawn, and ultimately leave behind a completely finished project.
That full-service capability makes us extremely versatile and valuable to our customers, and we want people who take pride in seeing the entire project through from start to finish.
Being adaptable is huge.
If you’re an equipment operator who can also jump out of the machine and help establish a final grade — that’s valuable.
If you’re an excavation guy who understands that the final appearance of the property matters just as much as what’s underground — that’s valuable.
If you can move between different types of construction and understand how today’s work affects the finished product three weeks from now — that’s exactly the mindset we’re looking for.
LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION / HARDSCAPE
We’re also looking to strengthen our landscape construction team with people experienced in or interested in:
* Paver patios & walkways
* Small and mid-sized retaining walls
* Hardscape construction
* Finish grading
* Planting installations
* Landscape bed construction
* Drainage
* Lawn installations
* General landscape construction
We’re looking for people who care about detail and craftsmanship and want to be able to stand back at the end of a project and be proud of what they built.
GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
We’re also hiring for our grounds maintenance division.
We maintain a large portfolio of commercial properties and larger residential properties, and we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys making properties look top-tier.
We want someone who:
* Takes pride in clean, straight mowing lines
* Understands efficient mowing patterns
* Can trim quickly, cleanly and consistently
* Pays attention to details
* Understands professional property presentation
* Takes ownership instead of needing to be constantly supervised
* Wants every property to look better when they leave than when they arrived
Whether you’re running an excavator, laying pavers, installing plant material or mowing a commercial property, the expectation is the same: take pride in the finished product.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for go-getters.
People with common sense. People who can think ahead. People who want responsibility. People who want to become better at their trade and more valuable every year.
You don’t have to know everything.
If you have a strong foundation of construction or landscape knowledge, mechanical ability, a willingness to learn and the right attitude, we can teach and develop the right person.
But you have to be willing to work.
This is not a 9-to-5 job.
There are long days. There are deadlines. There are changing schedules and weather challenges. Sometimes we need to push to get a project across the finish line.
In return, we’re building a company where the right people have the opportunity to learn multiple trades, operate great equipment, take on responsibility, move into leadership positions and build a long-term career.
We’re busy now, we’re building our schedule for 2027, and we’re looking for the right people to grow with us.
If you’re somebody who wants to work hard, learn, take ownership and be part of a company capable of taking a project from the first bucket of dirt to the final blade of grass — we want to hear from you.
