D.M. Hock Enterprises is seeking a skilled and motivated mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of our paving and construction equipment fleet. This role involves working on a wide range of equipment, including trucks, asphalt pavers, rollers, screeners, loaders, milling equipment, excavators, and other machinery associated with paving and construction operations. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

In addition to equipment maintenance, this position is structured to provide consistent, full-time hours by incorporating responsibilities at our ParkerStore Product Center “Hydratec Industries” located in Torrington, Connecticut. At the store, the individual will assist with the assembly of hydraulic and fluid connection components, inventory management, and general day-to-day operations. This creates a dynamic role where the employee will transition between field/shop mechanical work and a controlled retail/service environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to expand their knowledge across both heavy equipment and hydraulic fluid connection. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop a diverse skill set while playing a key role in supporting both our construction operations and hydraulic service division.
