From the archives // Mystery of the Nile

In 2004, a team led by Pasquale Scaturro and Gordon Brown completed the first full descent of the Blue Nile and Nile River, traveling more than 3,000 miles over 114 days from Ethiopia to the Mediterranean. Along the way, Pelican cases were strapped to rafts and put to work protecting the gear that helped document the mission from source to sea.

For the past 5 years, Jason’s 1610 Protector Case has served as his camping / overlanding kitchen box. Carrying the stove, cooking gear, utensils, spices, cleaning items, and coffee essentials that keep camp running.
