🤠 IT'S FRIDAY... DRAW! 🔧😂

Apparently, the guys decided to settle things the old-fashioned way today... with a good ol' pliers duel! 🤣

We're not sure what started this showdown or who walked away with bragging rights, but at least they're keeping things entertaining!

All jokes aside, it's moments like these that make a hardworking crew even better. Long days, plenty of dirt, and a few good laughs along the way!

We're proud of the crew behind Hidewood Fiber and the work they put in helping bring reliable broadband to rural, unserved, and underserved communities.

Work hard. Laugh harder. Keep rural America connected. 💪

Happy Friday from the Hidewood Fiber crew! Have a great
weekend!

Where others stop, we connect.

⏱️ MONDAY MINUTE | Why does rural fiber matter?

Reliable broadband can make a difference anywhere—but in rural, unserved, and underserved communities, a new fiber connection can open doors to education, healthcare, business, agriculture, and opportunities that depend on being connected.

Rural fiber construction comes with its own challenges: longer distances, remote locations, changing terrain, and plenty of miles between point A and point B. That’s exactly the kind of work we’re ready for. 💪

Hidewood Fiber is proud to work alongside providers expanding broadband infrastructure into the rural communities that need it.

🚛 Happy Friday from Hidewood Fiber! 🏔️

We’re loaded up and Montana bound for our next project!

This is what rural fiber deployment looks like behind the scenes—moving the crews and equipment needed to help build broadband infrastructure in the communities that need it most.

At Hidewood Fiber, we’re proud to partner with providers working to expand reliable broadband into rural, unserved, and underserved communities. And we’re not afraid to travel to get the job done. We’re ready to go where the work takes us and help close the connectivity gap one project at a time. 💪

Rural communities. Reliable connections. Wherever the work takes us.

Where others stop, we connect.

Have a great weekend from the Hidewood Fiber crew! 👷‍♂️

⏱️ MONDAY MINUTE | Why are we using water to dig? 💧

When you’re working around existing underground utilities, sometimes the safest way to dig isn’t with a shovel or a machine. Hydrovac excavation uses high-pressure water and a powerful vacuum to carefully expose what’s below—helping our crews locate utilities while protecting the infrastructure already in place.

And every once in a while, we uncover a little history along the way…like these vaults dating back to the 1990s! 👀

Know what’s below. Dig smarter. Work safer.

🔎 Talk about a throwback!

Our crew did a little underground treasure hunting and uncovered fiber vaults that have been buried since the 1990s! 😲

When infrastructure has been underground for 30+ years, finding exactly where everything was placed can take a little patience, the right equipment, and some good old-fashioned digging—well, vacuum digging in this case. 😉

These vaults may have been out of sight for decades, but they’re an important reminder of just how long underground infrastructure can remain part of the networks we rely on.

A little mud, a little detective work, and another piece of fiber history uncovered. 💪

Where others stop, we connect.

⏱️ MONDAY MINUTE | It’s more than just dirt and fiber!

When you see our crews working, it might look like we’re simply putting fiber underground—but there’s a little more to it than that.

Conduit acts like a protective highway for fiber, helping shield the cable from the elements and everyday activity while also making future maintenance, repairs, and upgrades easier. It’s one of those pieces of the job you may never see once the ground is closed back up, but it plays an important role in keeping communities connected for years to come.

That’s the goal: build it right today so it’s ready for tomorrow. 💪

🦺 Safer for everyone.
🏠 Protects your property.
🌐 Built for today. Ready for tomorrow.

Protect it today. Keep it connected tomorrow.

🚧 It Takes Two… and a Little Underground Communication! 😎

One on the drill. One on the locator. Both making sure that drill head ends up where it’s supposed to—not where it feels like going. 😂

Directional boring is definitely a team effort. While the operator runs the drill, the locator tracks the drill head underground, checking its position, depth, and pitch and communicating with the operator to keep everything on course.

These guys make it look easy, but there’s a whole lot of communication, precision, and experience happening on both ends of that bore. 💪

Another productive week in the books, and we’re more than ready to say HAPPY FRIDAY! 🙌

Teamwork above ground. Precision underground.
