We install 50+ Egress Windows a year but rarely get asked about deleting one.

Here (in partnership with a Mason) we removed the well, waterproofed over the deleted window, tested the drain tile then backfilled with gravel to grade level.

The gravel was chose for two drains.
1.) to ensure no settling due to the overhang that would prevent us from tamping the dirt.
2.) homeowner plans to landscape with rock in that area once we finished.

Win/Win.

Started a 3 wall dig, push, waterproof and sump pump job out of town today.

We are installing deadman anchors to pull this one out due to limitations inside preventing the use of our pushers.

This one has a natural spring under it, you can see water has risen in the trenches.

Inside Drain Tile job here:

This property has water that comes up from the underside of the basement floor at the wall during heavy rains.

Ricks Concrete Sawing came and cut the floor for us. We removed concrete, dug a trench, encased a drain tile in gravel, connected the tile to the sump pump then poured concrete over the top.

A deco drain was put against the wall to catch any water that may seep in from the walls.

The water will now get caught in the drain tile as it rises from underneath and flow to the sump pump to be discharged out.

Many many many trips up and down the stairs w chunks of concrete, buckets of sand/dirt, buckets of gravel then bags of concrete.

A little weekend project:

Dug the back wall to waterproof in preparations for a deck going on, decided we may as well continue down the side. Stopped at the gas meter due to a time crunch.

Will start back up at the gas meter and wrap around to do the front wall shortly.

Installed 9 Stabil-Loc Piers on this room addition. We had to fight some old concrete piers in several of the holes. Win...

Started a big job this week also. Got rained out but back at it Monday.

36’ wall that’s pushed in 4”.
Dig, push, waterproof, i-beams, egress and 4 piers on a room addition.

Hand digging around the sewer line, propane line and water line. Makes for some slow digging.
