Power Outage & Your A/C unit

To prevent damage, turn off the AC and wait for the power to stabilize before resetting the system by turning the breaker on and off. If the AC still doesn't work after a reset, a technician can help diagnose and fix the issue, as specialized parts like the capacitor or the circuit board may be at fault.
