If you are in the area affected by the smoke and ash from the wild fire, here's some advice.
1) close your windows.
2) when in your car put your air on recycle.
3) replace your home's air filter now.
4) if your doors or windows have a draft, seal them with tape. It isn't pretty, but this is for your health. Put a moist rolled towel at the base of your main door.
5) turn your attic fan or whole house fan off. These cause a negative pressure in your house, and pull in outside air.
6) once the smoke clears replace your filters again. Have a trusted hvac company check your ac condenser to make sure its not packed with soot.
