I haven’t done a Brazilian Ipe’ deck in years.
This took about a month to build. The front is stainless steel cable railing. all the fasteners are stainless steel. I love working with this wood, it’s like building a piece of furniture.

This was my first project of the year. It took 8 weeks to complete. Thanks to the help of some good friends ( Peter, John, and Patrick) . Without their help it would have taken longer.
This is a before picture. Then a few shots along the way till completion.
It has an under deck roof, white PVC trim, Azek Slate Gray decking, Azek railing with LED cap lights and a fiberglass pergola.

I built the original screen porch in 1991.
They wanted to “restore it to its former glory”.
It’s been awhile since I worked with western red cedar. I love the smell! It took about 3 weeks to complete. Most things I build today are plastic and composite’s. It was nice to work with wood 🤓!

Also we used Azek joist tape to protect the old joist.

Finished yesterday. 24’x 24’ this one took me a month to build. The flooring is Azek Island oak color. The railing is TimberTech Radiance Rail with 4” posts and island caps. This is the first time building a gate with Radiance Rail. I’m very happy with the gate kit from Bugh.

This is my house. I’ve been so busy that I neglected to keep up my own deck. It took me 4 days to clean it and 3 days to stain. Looks like new again!
It’s made with Brazilian Ipe.

This is a pressure treated deck with a cedar pergola (purchased as a kit). Completed yesterday.
