Our Manager of Strategic Initiatives, Chris Blessing, will be co-hosting a panel next Thursday at the Bowling Green State University Advanced Manufacturing Summit.

The Advanced Manufacturing Summit brings together manufacturers, students, educators, workforce partners and regional leaders to explore the future of advanced manufacturing and strengthen connections between education and industry.

Chris's breakout session, entitled "Making Manufacturing Visible: How Employers Can Show Up for Students".

Chris will be sharing the extensive knowledge he's gained here at Wurtec while working as an engineer and overseeing our additive manufacturing capabilities and other important strategic initiatives.

Fresh off our Ellies win, we're up for another award - the 2026 Product of the Year!

Our very own founder and CEO Steve Wurth had the honor of receiving the William C. Sturgeon Distinguished Service Award at last week's NAEC Convention.

Presented annually by NAEC, the William C. Sturgeon Award honors individuals who have made a lasting impact in the field of vertical transportation.

This award recognizes Steve for his decades of contributions to elevator and escalator technology through his innovations in tooling, systems, and more.

Final preparations for the NAEC convention are underway. We always bring this briefcase unit showing off our Sentinel controller.

Powered by THOR, the Sentinel is our commercial hydro controller unit featuring CANopen Lift technology.

Also on display will be a full wall-mounted Sentinel package, a Meridian residential controller, our ModCall wireless hall riser system, and other solutions for commercial and residential systems.

You can find it all in our Elevator Systems Booth - number 240 on the show floor.
