Removal of old fence and makeshift cellar door, paver's.

Be mindful of exterior doors that aren't under some sort of porch or overhang.
Even with a storm door.

Any door that does not have a storm door, pay attention to the brickmold.
It should be caulked with installation, the frames and doors are only primed, they need painted> routinely.
Paint is the first line of defense.
This is the second home this situation was an issue, it gets into floors framing etc.

I enjoy all customers that we are able to do work for.
It's a process for a homeowner, finding contractors who fit their needs and criteria [those are different for all people].
I've learned that often it comes down to a few simple things, promptness, professionalism, and personability.
Likewise, contractors have a process as well.
This year most of our jobs so far are repeating customers!
I think that speaks volumes.

We are getting into the warmer weather this week.
What projects do you have planned this year? Whatever they are, don't wait too long to reach out to those contractors.

Here is the finished product from the old door glass.
He said that sticker had been on the glass every bit of 15 years.
He was Speechless and all sorts of big smiles.
Once they decide where to place it I'll go ahead and hang it for them
It's not often I can do something personalized like this.
It sure is enjoyable when I can.
1914, 109 years so far in the family.

Country jobs are always windy, and this was no exception.
The customer said to me the day after I had the new windows roughed in, with only spray foam. "That they were already keeping the wind out better/less breezy than the old one's. That also had storm windows".

This is neat to me.
Replacing windows and a door on an old farm house, farm established in 1914 if I remember correctly.
Date of door glass unknown [without asking owner].
Upon starting I was wondering what I could do with the glass.
Yesterday I told his wife whom is my primary contact > please don't say anything to your husband. But I'm going to take the door, and attempt to remove the glass, then frame it, because I know he has been looking at that glass for years.
