1 of 2 projects that we were on today. This one was in Olin Iowa. This job included some light grading, installing 4 underground downspouts.

We installed a clean out by the house for easy access to the pipe and turned the last few feet into a French drain to allow the water to fully empty out of the pipe, that way there is no freezing issues in the winter.
Once we install the rock for the French drain section and backfill the pipe with dirt, well install the sod back on top, making it look like we were barely there. Takes more time and clean up, but is the right and best way of doing it.

Today we started the day with a flat tire. Huge thanks to Cedar County Automotive for getting us fixed up so quickly and back on the road! 🛞🙌

Paver patio installed in Wilton Iowa

Pavers Used: County 3 piece set with Unilock Copthorne accent

Installation method: Installed the pavers on an open graded base with geo textile separation fabric

What's Left? We have to install edge restraint, poly sand and then grade around the patio.

Due to the slope of the land, on heavy rains, it directs water to this general location, to ensure the paver patio has a long lasting life, we decided to raise the patio slightly, where we can ensure the water goes away from the patio. A little more work at the end, but is the most ideal solution.

It has been a busy few days after an eventful week of rain. Got some trees planted, a few clean ups and catching up on mowing. Today, finishing up our mowing route and getting going on our Wilton project!
And then it looks like we have some rain coming in tomorrow again😭

📚🍎 Giving Back to the Teachers Who Give So Much ❤️

Teachers invest countless hours helping shape the next generation, and we wanted to do something to say thank you.

Today, we’re donating a vehicle full of school supplies to help support our local schools. We have 5 backpacks with supples going to Tadan's Touch Foundation and the rest will be given directly to Tipton schools. We hope these supplies can make the school year just a little easier for the amazing educators and students in our community.

As another small way to show our appreciation, we’d love to recognize one outstanding teacher!

Another Durant, Iowa project in the books! We transformed this yard from bare construction ground into a finished outdoor space ready to enjoy.
We used a topsoil compost mix for the base to ensure the sod has the best material to grow in.
