Tionesta Borough, Forest County, PA Incorporated in 1856, Tionesta is a small Borough nestled along the scenic Allegheny River in Forest County Pennsylvania.

The Borough of Tionesta is governed by the rules and regulations as established by the Borough Code of the State of Pennsylvania. The Borough Code basically outlines what the borough is allowed to do under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania. The Borough has seven Council members elected at large. The Council sets policies for the borough through the enactment of ordinances and resolutions. Borough Council Meets the first Tuesday of the month at 5:00 pm and the fourth Tuesday at 4:00 PM at the Borough Office. Judith McDaid, Mayor
