Construction Safety Week: Day 4

Respecting the Risks.

From the unlikely to the never expected, dangerous situations on the jobsite can have devastating consequences. From difficult recoveries, to strained legacies, to the ongoing struggles of Traumatic Brain Injury, these life-changing incidents have lasting impacts.

Take a moment and reflect on one such experience, graciously shared by Will Goldsmith.

These stories aren’t just statistics. They’re real people, real families, and real futures that changed in an instant.

Respect the risks. Protect the future.

Construction Safety Week: Day 3

Expect the Unexpected.

On any given site, there are countless situations you might come across. Sometimes the best way to protect yourself is being ready for just about anything - to expect the unexpected.

Preparation isn’t just about the morning briefing. It’s about showing up with gear that works when something goes wrong.

You can’t predict every risk. But you can be ready for it.

Construction Safety Week: Day 2

Reducing the Risk.

68% of work-related TBIs in construction are caused by falls. Between 2021-2022, U.S. workers suffered 195,720 occupational head injuries - 684 of them fatal.
Only 16% of workers who suffered a head injury were wearing head protection at the time.

And when safety professionals were asked why head protection isn’t worn 100% of the time, the top reasons were heat, discomfort, and poor fit.

The risks are preventable. The gear exists. But workers wearing secured safety helmets are ~58% less likely to suffer an intracranial injury during falls which can expose the front, back, and sides of heads to impact.

Type II helmets undergo rigorous multi-directional testing. advanced impact technology absorbs and redirects the energy of impact, reducing the risk of head and neck injury.

Reducing the risk starts with gear built for it.
