Going into the weekend with a little flooring inspiration.

There is something satisfying about seeing a project come together from start to finish. This home went from older flooring and carpet to a more connected, finished look with hardwood carried throughout the space.

Take a look through the photos to see the before, the process, and the finished result.
If new floors are somewhere on your home project list this weekend, we would be happy to help you explore the options that make sense for your home.

It’s amazing what a fresh finish can do for hardwood floors.

Jeanine’s home in Thornton had surface wear and dull spots that made the wood look tired, especially in high-traffic areas like the kitchen and hallways. We used a screen and coat approach, which is a light abrasion, dustless buffing, and a single coat of satin finish to bring back the natural warmth and shine without needing a full refinish. Every detail, from the grain pattern to the subtle sheen, now stands out again.

A little maintenance goes a long way in protecting your floors and keeping your space feeling renewed.

From dark and dated… to bright and beautiful

This is what a flooring transformation can really do for a home.
➡️ Before: Dark, worn finishes that made the space feel smaller and heavier
➡️ After: Light, natural hardwood that completely opens up the room and reflects natural light

Notice how the new floors:
• Make the entire space feel bigger
• Brighten every corner of the home
• Create a clean, modern look that works with any style

And the best part? This isn’t just about looks.Updated hardwood flooring can significantly increase your home’s value and appeal.

If your floors are holding your home back, this is your sign…it might be time for an upgrade.

One of the biggest mistakes we see with hardwood floors: Using store-bought polish.
At first, it looks good. It adds shine and makes floors appear refreshed.
But over time:
• It builds up on the surface
• Traps dirt and residue
• Dulls the actual finish underneath
Eventually, it can even prevent a proper screen and coat.
What seems like a quick fix can actually shorten the life of your floors.
If your floors look cloudy or streaky, this could be the reason.
