Blake Landry, a Shallow Water Equipment Operator, was recognized by the Operations Team for demonstrating strong safety leadership. When Blake was not fully confident that an assigned task could be completed safely, he exercised his Stop Work Authority. His concern was reviewed, the hazards were addressed, and a safe plan was developed before work resumed. Great job Blake! Shallow Water Equipment is a subsidiary of Onshore Companies.

At 2:00 a.m. near Laplace, Louisiana, Onshore Materials crews were hard at work pouring concrete for the Perrilloux Canal Drainage Structure. Onshore is constructing sections 105, 103 and 101A of the vital U.S. Army Corps of Engineers West Shore Lake Pontchartrain levee system.
