While the worst of the winter storm has passed, we’re still dealing with freezing overnight temps followed by daytime thawing. That freeze-thaw cycle can make roads slick and unpredictable, especially in the early mornings.

We’ll reassess conditions tomorrow. If it’s safe to do so, we’ll be back out completing pending jobs as quickly as possible!

‼️❄️ FREEZE WARNING ❄️‼️

With freezing temperatures approaching, it’s critical to prepare your pool—especially in the event of a power outage. Frozen plumbing can lead to cracked pipes, damaged equipment, and costly repairs.

If power is lost during a freeze, take these steps immediately:

• Shut off power to the pool equipment at the breaker
• Open all pump lids and filter air relief valves
• Remove drain plugs from pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
• Open valves to allow all water to drain from the system

If power remains on, ensure your freeze protection is enabled and your pump is running continuously.

⚠️ If you’re unsure, unable to drain properly, or notice leaks, ice, or equipment issues—do not wait. Call TCB Pool Service! 469-451-1954
