We’re excited to share that Drew Shafer has officially moved into the role of Preconstruction Manager at Keymark.

Since joining Keymark in 2023, Drew has served as Project Manager on the Commercial side of our business, building strong relationships, delivering successful projects, and supporting both our clients and our internal team.

In this role, Drew will lead preconstruction efforts in Terre Haute, including project planning, estimating coordination, budgeting, client engagement, and early project strategy. His project management experience, industry knowledge, and steady approach provide a strong foundation for helping projects start well and move forward with confidence.

We’re glad to have Drew leading this important part of the process, helping clients start their projects with clarity, confidence, and the right plan in place.

We’re proud to be part of the improvements underway at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course as Terre Haute prepares to welcome national championship events in 2026 and 2027.

This project is an exciting investment in a venue that means a great deal to our community — supporting athletes, visitors, sports tourism, and Terre Haute’s continued identity as Cross Country Town USA.

It’s always meaningful to help build spaces that serve our region and create a lasting impact.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to celebrate Willie Wyres and congratulate him on his retirement.

Willie has been part of Keymark’s story since the beginning. Over the years, he contributed to more than 100 projects and helped set a high standard for the way we work, problem-solve, and serve our clients.

His experience, steady perspective, and sense of humor have made a lasting impact on our team and our company culture. We are grateful for the role he has played in Keymark’s first 15 years and for the example he has set along the way.

This week is Construction Safety Week, and at Keymark, safety isn’t just a checklist — it’s part of how we take care of our people and our projects every day.

On May 4, our team participated in CPR, AED, and fire extinguisher training to strengthen the skills that help keep jobsites safer and teams prepared.

Investing in training is one more way we live out our commitment to doing the job right — for our team, our clients, and our community.

National Library Week feels like the perfect time to look back on one of our favorite projects.

Keymark was proud to partner with the Vigo County Public Library on the 12 Points Branch - taking a familiar neighborhood building and completely reimagining it as a vibrant community hub with a sun deck, playground, training center, and much more. A space that once meant something very different to this neighborhood now buzzes with learning, laughter, and connection.
