Here’s a bird’s-eye view of two exciting community projects taking shape in Terre Haute.

At the Hindu Temple of Terre Haute site, the foundation is now complete, giving the future building a clear footprint and marking a major step forward in construction.

Across town, at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course, multiple improvements are underway as part of the larger master plan for the property. The work continues to strengthen and enhance one of West Central Indiana’s most significant tourism and athletic assets.

Two very different projects. Two meaningful investments in our region. And plenty of progress happening on the ground.

Members of the Keymark team joined business and community leaders today for Innovate West Central Indiana at Indiana State University to learn about the opportunities shaping our region and our state.

Business growth was at the center of the conversation, with technology, entrepreneurship, tourism, and improved housing all highlighted as important components of continued economic progress.

Thank you to Indianapolis Business Journal for coordinating the event and bringing together leaders from business, government, education, and the community for an important conversation about growth across the region and the state.

Thanks to Governor Mike Braun and Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun (Terre Haute Mayor's Office) for sharing their perspectives on the future of Indiana and the region, and to panelists Greg Gibson (Gibson Development), Mike Godard (Indiana State University), Ryan Keller (Thrive West Central), Shelley Klingerman (Stiletto Agency), and Grace McArdle ( Elanco ) for discussing the opportunities, investments, and partnerships helping move West Central Indiana forward.

We’re proud to have built Hemminghouse Homes in partnership with Mental Health America of West Central Indiana, Inc., ALK Development, and the many organizations that helped make this project possible.

Today’s ribbon cutting marks more than the completion of construction. It marks the beginning of a lasting community resource that will provide safe, stable housing for people who need it.

We’re grateful to be part of a project built with care, craftsmanship, and long-term impact in mind.

Keymark is proud to deliver the improvements underway at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.

We appreciate the collaboration with the Terre Haute Convention and Visitors Bureau (See You In Terre Haute) and the careful planning behind this project. As a nationally-recognized destination for cross country, the course plays an important role in bringing visitors and economic activity to West Central Indiana.

We look forward to strengthening a regional asset that will serve athletes, visitors, and our community for years to come.

It has been four weeks since our last Flyover Friday, and there is plenty of progress to see at the Hindu Temple of Terre Haute and the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.

From the air, the changes across both job sites are easy to see as the work continues to move forward.

That progress reflects the planning, coordination, and craftsmanship of the project teams and trade partners working across both sites.

As Wiktor Lechwar's summer internship comes to a close, he shared an end-of-internship presentation highlighting what he learned during his time at Keymark.

Throughout the summer, Wiktor shadowed team members across the company, gaining firsthand insight into the people, processes, and coordination behind every project. He also brought a valuable perspective shaped by his Construction Management degree from Indiana State University and his experience in real estate.
