This week we will begin aeration for your lawns. If you need this service, please reach out to me to schedule.
Why Core Aeration Is Important
1. Relieves Soil Compaction
Over time, soil gets compacted from foot traffic, mowing, and rain. Compacted soil makes it hard for grass roots to grow. Aeration loosens the soil so roots can expand.
2. Improves Air, Water, and Nutrient Flow
Grass roots need oxygen, water, and nutrients. Aeration creates pathways so these essentials can reach deeper into the soil instead of sitting on the surface.
3. Encourages Stronger Root Growth
With better access to resources, roots grow deeper and stronger—leading to thicker, healthier grass.
4. Reduces Thatch Buildup
Thatch is a layer of dead grass and debris. Aeration helps break it down and prevents it from becoming a barrier to water and nutrients.
5. Enhances Lawn Resilience
Aerated lawns handle heat, drought, and heavy use much better than compacted ones
