🌸WOW FUN FLOWER FACT: These “flowers” get better with the cold! ❄️

Ever notice that ornamental cabbage and kale start out looking mostly green in a fresh fall planting? Just wait! 👀

As temperatures cool, their centers begin to color up, revealing beautiful shades of white, pink, purple, and red. The cooler it gets, the more intense those colors become — often taking a few weeks to reach their full vibrancy. 🍂✨

And here's the really WOW part: Once established, ornamental cabbage and kale can tolerate temperatures down to around 5°F! 🥶 Making them some of the toughest plants in our fall arrangements.

So if your fresh fall planting looks a little green at first, don't worry! The cooler weather is just getting started — and so is the color. 🌿➡️💜

We hear it all the time: “I gave up on trying to keep flowers alive, so I just use fake ones.”

And we love getting to tell them: You can have the real thing. 🌸

WOW creates lush, living window boxes and planters designed for Arizona, with automated irrigation to help keep everything thriving.

Seeing someone light up when they realize real flowers can actually work at their home? That’s one of our favorite parts. 🌿

10/03/2026

Yep, we guarantee the plants. 🌸

When WOW installs your seasonal planting with our automatic irrigation system, your plants are guaranteed through the season as long as you keep the irrigation system on.

Because beautiful planters should come with a little peace of mind, too. 💧

In Arizona, watering isn’t something you want to leave to chance. 💧

WOW’s custom automatic drip irrigation delivers consistent water right where your plants need it, helping keep those planters and window boxes happy in our desert heat, without adding another chore to your day.

You enjoy the blooms. We’ll handle the watering. 🌸

One of the biggest surprises for visitors at the Maricopa County Home & Garden Show at WestWorld of Scottsdale? Our window boxes aren’t wood.

Our window boxes and planters are constructed from PVC, which means they won’t warp, rot or attract termites like traditional wood can. Plus, the box itself is backed by a 5-year warranty.

Beautiful flowers get most of the attention, but what’s underneath them matters, too. Have a question about how WOW works? Drop it in the comments. We might answer yours next!
