Our professional scorpion sealing company has provided security to homes and businesses throughout Arizona for over 15 years. We are committed to providing all of our clients with quality service and a scorpion-free home. Seal Out Scorpions was founded in 1999 by Georgia Clubb who once had a phobia of scorpions.

Her fear and desperation turned to an obsession after she had been stung several times, moved out of two homes and found herself in her fourth home that was infested. After going through a number of failed services, the obsession led her to extensive study of the science of scorpions, home structures, the environmental impacts, repellents, insecticides and all matters related to keeping scorpions out. Curing her own problem she and her husband William and brother Mike began working with others in similar situations and with similar fears to keep scorpions out of their own homes. Seal Out Scorpions has grown to 11 full time staff members working year round with residents in keeping scorpions out. The company office is located in Tempe Arizona, and is servicing the areas of Tempe, Ahwatukee, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Phoenix, Glendale, Anthem, Tucson, East Mesa, Peoria, Fountain Hills, and the surrounding cities. Not all pest sealing is designed for Arizona scorpions.
Many homes still have small structural openings that allow pests inside — even after treatments.
Seal Out Scorpions focuses on reducing the pathways scorpions use to access the home in the first place.

If you’ve seen one scorpion inside, there’s a reason.
Not coincidence. Not “just the season.”
There is a specific entry point in the structure of the home.
Most homes have dozens—sometimes hundreds—of micro gaps that aren’t visible unless you know where to look. Sealing one or two won’t stop the problem. They simply reroute.
That’s why spraying alone doesn’t solve it.
A scorpion-free home comes from understanding how they’re getting in—and engineering the structure so they can’t.
That’s the difference between temporary control and real prevention.

Buying a home in Arizona comes with more variables than most inspections reveal. Scorpions aren’t part of the standard checklist—but their presence is often predictable when you know what to look for. Before you move in, it’s worth understanding how environment, structure, and sealing all work together.

Not all scorpions behave the same—and that difference matters more than most people realize.

Burrowing species tend to stay underground and out of sight. But Arizona bark scorpions are different. They climb. Walls, furniture, entry points—anything that leads them indoors.

That’s why they’re the species most often found inside homes.

Understanding how they live is the first step to keeping them out.

Scorpions don’t follow the same rules as other pests.

There’s no nest to remove. No colony to break apart. And no single point of origin to target.

Their behavior is individual, long-term, and tied to the environment around your home.

That’s why control isn’t about chasing activity—it’s about addressing how they get in, where they settle, and why they stay.

The most effective time to address scorpion risk is often before daily life settles into a home.
Before furniture fills the rooms.
Before routines take hold.
Before the first encounter.
When structural vulnerabilities are evaluated early, prevention becomes simpler, quieter, and more reliable.
This perspective comes from more than two decades of field experience working with Arizona homes.

Scorpion season doesn’t start in summer.

March is when homes either get ahead of the problem or set the stage for it.

This month, small structural details, sealing decisions, and treatment choices matter more than most realize. Not all prevention is equal, and not all approaches address how scorpions actually enter a home.

Our latest article breaks down the most common mistakes Arizona homeowners make in March and what separates reactive control from proactive preparation.
