So to truly serve our customer, we first needed to know who they were. Simply put, our customer is someone who takes pride in managing their office or retail. We refer to jobs not by the property name, but by the first name of the property manager. Not only who they are, but what they like and don't like and how they want their property to look.

DBL's maintenance crews have been hard at work scalping turf across the Valley in preparation for fall overseeding season. 🍂

✂️ What is turf scalping?
Scalping involves cutting summer Bermuda grass down significantly to reduce existing growth and allow winter ryegrass seed to make better contact with the soil.

🌾 What should you expect?
During this transition, lawns may appear brown, patchy, or nearly bare. While it might not look pretty right now, this temporary change is an important step toward establishing a lush, green winter lawn.

💧 What's next?
Once overseeding begins, proper irrigation and time will help the new ryegrass germinate and establish itself.
