What actually goes into electrical rough-in? ⚡️

Before insulation and drywall, every outlet, switch, light and dedicated circuit must be laid out correctly. We follow the electrical plans, mark each location, drill through the framing, set the boxes and pull wire throughout the entire ADU.

Once the rough-in is complete, it’s ready for inspection. Getting the layout right at this stage helps prevent expensive changes later.

What’s wrong with this picture? 👀

At first glance, these hot and cold water supply lines look like they were installed in the wrong place — sitting outside the framing.

But it’s intentional.

They’re left accessible until the exact fixture locations are confirmed. Once everything is laid out, the plumber can bring the lines into the wall exactly where they need to be.

Small details during rough plumbing can make a big difference later in the project. 🔨
