We'd been wanting one for several years to replace our old broken down whole house fan and finally pulled the trigger. Had it installed in mid-August. Scott's original installer had a family emergency the day of scheduled installation, however Scott and his helper showed up a bit later that day and completed the installation quickly. They also removed the old fan and repaired the ceiling for a reasonable additional cost. The fan works great and super quiet and quite a bit stronger compared to the old fan. Highly recommended."

Great review from Al... "I recently called Scott at Innovation Solutions regarding our whole-house fan, which we purchased from them about seven years ago. The fan had started making a loud growling noise whenever we turned it on, and it was becoming quite concerning.

Since the fan was still under warranty, Scott promptly scheduled a service visit. After inspecting the unit, he immediately removed the fan and, within just a few days, returned to install a retrofitted replacement.

It’s been about a week since the installation, and the fan has been working flawlessly. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the repair and the outstanding customer service we received.

Great review from Pat... "This may be one of the few reviews for IHES written by someone who didn’t end up purchasing a whole house fan—and that’s exactly why we wanted to write it.

Our family genuinely wanted to move forward with IHES because every interaction we had with their team inspired confidence. From their representatives at the San Diego County Fair, to the estimator and installers who visited our home, to Scott, who patiently followed up by phone and email with detailed answers to every question we had, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and never made us feel rushed or pressured.

Unfortunately, after evaluating our home’s layout, we discovered that our attic configuration simply wasn’t compatible with an ideal whole house fan installation. Due to the attic pitch, roof framing, the location of our HVAC furnace, and the placement of the A/C return duct, the only feasible location for the fan’s intake grille would have been inside one of our three bedrooms. While technically possible, that solution would have sacrificed the privacy and functionality of the room. If our home’s design had allowed the intake to be installed in the hallway—or if we had a loft, office, or another suitable common area—this review would instead be about how much we love our new whole house fan.

What impressed us most was IHES’s honesty and professionalism. They didn’t try to convince us to accept a less-than-ideal installation just to make a sale. Instead, they clearly explained our options, answered every question thoroughly, and allowed us to make an informed decision without ever resorting to high-pressure tactics or “today only” sales promotions.

Sometimes the true measure of a company isn’t how they treat customers who buy from them—it’s how they treat customers who don’t. In our experience, IHES demonstrated integrity, expertise, patience, and outstanding communication from beginning to end. Although our home’s design prevented us from moving forward, we never felt like just another sales opportunity.

If your home is a good candidate for a whole house fan, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend IHES. Based on our experience, you can expect honest advice, exceptional customer service, and a team that genuinely wants what’s best for your home—even if that means not making the sale."
