August really hit hard for pests this year. Peak season was pure insanity. Once the weather begins to cool, dropping to a steady temperature of below 70°, we're counting on most general pests to slowly subside. As always though, with winds and rain comes pests who thrive and/or do whatever it takes to survive in those conditions. Pest control is a year round thing whether it be bugs or rodents.

She and her father are truly skilled cooks. Some of the best if not the best in the area if you don't have it readily available at home!

We're always on the lookout for all kinds of pest activity. Here are some wolf spider burrows we located at one of our job sites.

Wolf spiders are typically harmless unless mishandled or provoked and do have a powerful venomous bite which may cause itching and swelling.

While some welcome them as natural predators for their gardens, others want them gone at the very sight of them and we cannot blame them as if they make their way inside your home or business, it's highly likely to experience a painful bite at some point in time.

See any of these around lately? These are called boxelder bugs. They travel in high numbers and are an absolute nuisance to deal with.

During our search we also located many clover mites hiding in the lawns cloves. These too travel in very high numbers. Clover mites leave behind a red smudge stain resembling their reddish tint rather than blood splat.

Although pest nuisance is a year round occurrence, many pests can be located above ground on a seasonal basis.
