Hello, Greenville and Upstate community!

​My name is Nik Stevens, and I am the owner and craftsman behind Rift Woodwork and Design . My family and I recently relocated to the area from Clover, South Carolina, and we are thrilled to put down roots and serve the homes and businesses of Greenville and the surrounding Upstate.

​My journey into full-time woodworking started in the fire service, where I spent the better part of a decade as a career firefighter in Charleston, SC. During those years, my off-duty tinkering grew into a small handyman business, where I quickly realized custom carpentry and woodworking were my true calling. What began as a side project expanded into a full-scale custom shop in Clover, where I built long-standing relationships with custom home builders, Charlotte-area businesses, and local homeowners.

​At Rift Woodwork and Design, our core specialties include:

​Custom Cabinetry & Storage: Kitchen cabinetry, bath vanities, kitchen islands, built-in units, and specialty projects like hidden Murphy bookcase doors.

​Custom Furniture: Tables, desks, dressers, chairs —pretty much any wood furniture piece you need.

​Architectural Elements: Custom range hoods, faux beams (crafted to give the bold look of solid timber without the massive structural weight), fireplace mantels, accent walls, doors and sliding barn doors

​Our business is built on a foundation of faith, integrity, and honest service. I take immense pride in delivering precision craftsmanship, maintaining clear communication from start to finish, and making the process enjoyable for every client.
