Finished my first quilt in a LONG time!

I cannot take credit for the creation of the squares, a 90 year old lady hand stitched the blocs together. I just quilted and bound it. I had to make sure all of the seams were well stabilized, hence thee heavy quilting on the lines, then I went a little crazy with quilting the body of the quilt to learn how use my longarm machinee

Had such a good time doing it! Got my creative juices flowing - so many projects on my brain!

Finally got our 1st of 2 couch quilts on the design wall and the practice of free motion quilting to prepare to quilt it...

To those who like to sew:
I banged out this simple 42”x48” quilt this morning in about 2 hours. Once quilted it will be donated

If you have sewing skills and want to participate in the fun, I will quilt your “flimsy” free of charge. PM me.
