The company was begun in 1980 in Greenville, SC operating with a one-man crew. The operation relocated in 1982 to a farm in Tigerville, SC and expanded. While still a relatively small company, Stonerlandscape is highly focused on naturalistic design, detailed water features and rock construction, low water use irrigation, and growing and installing indigenous plant material.
