The goal of our page is to not only introduce our family run general contracting business to you, but to promote the quality of work and diversity of the jobs we perform daily. Presently with the help of my 2 sons Randy and Joshua we are able to perform the work timely and still maintain the quality of the work and as always with respect and professionalism. I started out swinging a hammer in the

early 1980s building garages, dormers and additions, soon moving to new construction building office interiors and installing millwork. In the mid. 1980s we started our first Maintenance and Alteration business (H&L Improvements) and opening a cabinet shop fabricating custom cabinets, counters and kitchen re-facing mostly servicing local general contractors continuing on into the early 1990s all the while I worked full time for a sign, display and exhibit company running a carpenters shop constructing custom trade show exhibits. Moving on late in the 1990s My wife Lauri and I started Harding Construction also mostly sub-contracting with large general contractors through-out southeast Michigan. We take great pride in our ability to perform our work neat and clean with the least amount of disturbance to the resident. Our experience is not just limited to single family homes but we have several years’ experience with multi-family dwellings which create special types of challenges in their own, which I take great pride in saying that all reviews from the general contractors, their clients and residents alike have always been positive in nature. In 2012 Lauri and I decided after nearly 30 years of us solely being responsible for generating the work and performing all the management of the jobs that it was time to pass on more of my construction knowledge to our sons Randy and Joshua. The decision was made to make the changes and we started Harding Remodeling, a full service Contracting business performing most aspects of the building trades but specializing in Kitchen and Bath renovations. Moving on into the future, we will continue to strive for excellence in work performed, customer satisfaction and professionalism on the job.
