Kokolakis is looking for an experienced Senior Proposal Specialist to join our marketing team!

What you’ll do:

-Lead the preparation and submission of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), presentations, and interview materials for public and private sector pursuits.
-Collaborate with executives, project managers, estimators, and business development staff to gather information and develop pursuit strategies.
-Write, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance with client requirements, and adherence to company branding standards.
-Create and coordinate proposal graphics, layouts, infographics, and other visual elements that enhance the quality and professionalism of submissions.
-Represent the company at pre-proposal meetings, networking events, industry functions, and client meetings as needed.
-Provide support for other marketing and business development initiatives as assigned.

Kokolakis is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Marketing & CRM Specialist to join the marketing team at our Florida office.

What you’ll do:

-Maintain accurate and up-to-date client, contact, and project records
-Clean and standardize data across offices and teams
-Develop and enforce CRM standards, workflows, and governance
-Support CRM system integrations (including Procore) and drive user adoption
-Train staff on CRM usage and best practices using ProjectMark

We were proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of Fire Station 24 in North Tampa alongside City of Tampa, Tampa Fire Rescue, ADG Architects, Howard + Associates Architects, Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc., and Jane Castor.

Expected to open in fall 2027, this new 17,000-square-foot facility will provide critical support for the North Tampa community and enhance local emergency response capabilities.

Building features include:

• Four apparatus bays
• Firefighter living quarters
• Administrative spaces
• Training tower

We’re proud to be part of a project that will provide critical infrastructure for the community and support one of the busiest emergency stations in Florida.

According to industry research, construction workers face a significantly higher risk of su***de than the general population. This is a critical issue for our industry and one that deserves continued awareness, education, and action.

This year’s Construction Su***de Prevention Week theme, Building on Progress, recognizes the progress being made in reducing su***de rates in construction while emphasizing the importance of continuing that momentum.

Kokolakis is committed to being part of that effort by serving as active members on the Construction Financial Management Association's (CFMA) Su***de Prevention Committee and attending several su***de prevention talks to continue learning, raising awareness, and creating a culture where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical safety.

On September 11, we remember.

We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders and everyday heroes who demonstrated extraordinary courage following one of the darkest days in our nation’s history.

Among those we remember is JoAnne Ahladiotis, a beloved member of the Kokolakis family who worked at Cantor Fitzgerald on the 104th floor of Tower 1 of the World Trade Center. JoAnne’s father, Milton Ahladiotis, was one of the first Kokolakis employees, retiring after nearly 45 years of service.

Twenty-five years later, we honor JoAnne and the thousands of lives lost on September 11, while remembering the strength, courage, and compassion that emerged in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
