August is Toad Olympics!
Are you in South Tampa and want to try your hand at catching cane toads? Toad Olympics began as a friendly competition between two goofy ladies who love their community and have a passion for the environment. Things look a little different this year now that The Toad Lady is official. Beginning this year, we want to empower people to join the fight to keep cane toads under control. For the month of August, we track how many cane toads each participant catches and collect a small fee for pickup from community members. The proceeds will be used for a dinner for anyone who participates and the overall winner, who will take half, so if you’d like to participate, comment below and we will reach out with the details!
