Storm season is a good reminder to take a closer look at your home’s electrical setup. ⚡

For this project, our team completed a panel changeout and installed a safe, dedicated hookup for a portable generator.

This outdoor connection, called a generator inlet, lets you connect your portable generator directly to your home’s electrical system so you can power selected circuits during an outage, without running extension cords throughout the house.

We also installed an interlock kit, which helps ensure your generator and utility power can’t feed your home at the same time, adding an important layer of safety.
