I truly love this message. I remember my Dad throwing me in pools. He was frustrated. He had a Daughter and a Son to play with who could swim. Then I came along. I was slow. I was deliberate. I was a "baby". I couldn't say then "YES I AM a baby"...He couldn't take the time to teach me to swim. He just thought I would if I was almost drowned. My Mom protected me. At the time I honestly thought she saved my life. Several time not just once or twice. The result was that I plugged my nose whenever near water for the 30 plus Years afterward. I am about 10 Years into not reaching for my face when diving into a pool. At over 60= I finally gained the wisdom to lose the cynicism and enjoy a swim! ~C.
