The year moves fast. The good moments can move even faster. This is why Focus Flooring started Joy Jars. 🎉🎉

The idea came from Eric Naskrent - a Sr. Preconstruction Engineer on our team - who shared a special Focus moment with his wife Joy. She suggested writing it down so it wouldn't get lost. And just like that, Joy Jars were born.

Now our team captures the moments, wins, and things that bring them joy at work - so nothing worth remembering gets left behind.

BayCare HealthHub Carrollwood is officially open and our team had the honor of being part of building it. 🏥

We handled the full flooring scope - Tile, LVT, carpet, & epoxy. Because of great collaboration and efficiency, this project was delivered 100% on schedule. In healthcare, meeting a timeline isn’t just a construction win. This means that patients can walk through those doors and receive the care they need.

Now arriving: Focus Flooring at TPA Airside D. ✈️

We are incredibly proud to be part of the team bringing the new Airside D terminal at Tampa International Airport to life.

From carpet and LVT to resinous flooring, resilient flooring, playground turf, and service animal relief areas - we’re covering nearly every surface in this terminal.

Being trusted with a project of this scale - at the airport that welcomes our own city - we don't take that lightly. Thank you to HENSEL PHELPS Gensler and Tampa International Airport for the opportunity to be part of something this special for Tampa.

Project 1991 is one for the books -

The Gray Team’s staging plan that mapped every product to every room. A material release plan that gave vendors total clarity. Our Red Team mobilized weeks before installation. Daily production reports driving real-time decisions.

This is just a look into the Focus Way - our 13 tool ecosystem working together so our people can deliver at the highest level.

But a tool is only as good as the people using it. And this team? That's exactly why Project 1991 was such a great success.

Last week, our leadership, field, and office teams gathered for our Q2 State of the Company.

This is our time to stop. Get in the same room. And ask ourselves - where are we, and where are we going?

Somewhere between discussing our Q1 reflections and our upcoming goals, we played a game - 30 seconds to build the tallest structure possible. Simple concept. Big lesson. Teams that collaborate win every time.

That's the energy we're taking into Q2 - on every job site, with every partner.

A topping out ceremony marks the highest point of a building's structural frame. And this one? It was personal.

Rob, Michael, Kim, and Mike joined the full project team to sign a steel beam — now permanently placed at the top of the new University of South Florida's stadium. That signature represents every team member here at Focus.

This is a landmark the city of Tampa has been waiting on, and the Focus Flooring name is embedded in that stadium forever. Grateful to Manhattan Construction Group, H.J. Russell & Company, DuCon, and Populous for the trust and partnership.

We're sending off one of our own - and while we're sad to see her go, we couldn't be more excited for what's next.

Sarita brought a generous spirit to everything she did here. She invested in the people around her, passed on what she knew, and always made it about something bigger than herself.

That's the kind of person who leaves a team better than she found it.
