The Joel Foy Scholarship was created to invest in the next generation of skilled electricians just as Joel did. It will support students in the Electrical Apprenticeship program at TSC, easing their financial burden and covering the cost of their first set of tools. For an apprentice, those tools represent opportunity and the start of a meaningful career.

The Joel Foy Endowed Scholarship was established to support students pursuing careers through Tallahassee State College’s Electrical Apprenticeship program. A respected local electrician, business owner, and educator, Joel dedicated his life to mentoring others and helping the next generation of skilled professionals succeed.

Through this scholarship, Joel’s legacy of hard work, leadership, and commitment to workforce education will continue by helping students overcome financial barriers and build meaningful careers.
