⭐ NAVIGATION | Pathways and wayfinding elements that allow users to traverse through space.
⭐ MATERIALS | The materials and finishes that make up a buildings structure and appearance.
⭐ CONNECTION TO EXTERIOR | How the interior and exterior of a space interact with one another.
⭐ ACCESSIBILITY | The routes created and design choices made to ensure a space is accessible to all populations of inhabitants.

Designed to support education while celebrating its natural surroundings, the Tallahassee State College Wakulla Environmental Institute is a pillar for environmental conservation. The large community room features natural light that pours in from above, illuminating the double-sided stone fireplace and creating a welcoming space that connects the indoors with the outdoors. Inside, classrooms and lab spaces provide flexible environments that support TSC's agriculture and aquaculture programs. As a net-zero building, the Institute reflects a thoughtful approach to sustainability, creating a place where environmental stewardship is woven into both the mission and the design.
