One of the special things about building docks on the lake is getting to enjoy some of the most beautiful views.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to work on the water and help our customers create a place where they can make memories for years to come.

One of the most common dock layouts we build here at Alabama Dock and Construction is a single-slip dock with a roof covering a portion of the sundeck.

This layout gives you the best of both worlds with plenty of open space to enjoy the sun on your sundeck, along with a covered area to provide a little shade when you need it.

This project features Trex Saddle composite decking paired with a black frosted metal roof for a clean, modern look.

If you’re thinking about building a new dock or upgrading your existing dock, let’s talk about what layout would work best for your lakefront property.

Day 12

Today, the guys are mounting the metal roofing on the dock.
This customer went with our most popular roofing color, Burnished Slate and it’s looking great!

Thurman and Nate are installing the flashing in the valley while Devin keeps the crew moving by passing up the pre-cut metal sheets.

Once the main roof was installed, the guys mounted the final corners and finished up the ridge caps to put the finishing touches on the roof.

We’re getting close to the finish line!

Stay tuned for Day 13 as we mount the boat lift and wrap this project up!
