This project showcases a remarkable transformation of space and stands out as my favorite for 2026 thus far. We successfully met a wedding deadline, delivering a stunning outcome. In conjunction with revitalizing the picturesque area, we installed 250 individual seasonal flowers to inject vibrant colors and applied fresh mulch to elevate the aesthetic appeal, complemented by the inviting scent of freshly laid mulch. As a design-build project, it turned out exceptionally well. Several vendors played a crucial role in its completion, notably Leave Your Mark, who provided and precisely drilled the rock feature, Ashland Greenhouse, for supplying the beautiful petunias and violas.

As temperatures start to drop, it’s important to protect your irrigation system from freeze damage. Winterizing your system helps prevent cracked pipes, broken valves, and costly repairs in the spring.

Even if you don’t have an air compressor, you still have options:

Shut off the main irrigation water supply.

Open all manual drain valves to let water escape naturally.

Turn on each zone at the controller to relieve pressure and drain any remaining water.

Insulate exposed components like the backflow prevention device, above-ground piping, and valve boxes.

Remove hose-end timers and drain any attached hoses.

If your system has low spots, long lines, or a backflow that can’t be fully drained, it’s best to schedule a professional. A proper winterization helps ensure your system is ready to go when spring arrives.

We are on the search again. We are looking to add another tech to our team. Are you a hard worker, self starter that can follow directions and retain information? Do you have a reliable vehicle? Do you want to work with professionals and learn skills that you have for the rest your life? We would prefer someone with experience but will train the right person.
