We need to talk about AI inspiration photos 😂 We’re getting more and more customers sending us AI generated photos saying, Can you make my house look like this? And honestly keep sending them! They’re a great way to show us exactly what you like and the vision you have for your home. But there’s something important homeowners should know. AI gets to design it. We actually have to build it. AI doesn’t have to worry about what’s behind your walls, structural support, plumbing, electrical, building codes, actual material sizes, products that really exist or how human hands are going to physically put everything together. AI can make a wall disappear in seconds. We have to figure out if that wall is holding your house up 😂 It can create perfectly seamless finishes, impossible angles and custom details that look incredibly simple on a screen but may require hours of labor and additional materials in real life. Does that mean we can’t recreate your AI inspiration? Absolutely not. In many cases we can get pretty darn close. It just means the photo is the inspiration, not the construction plan. Our job is to take what you love about that picture and figure out the safest, smartest and most cost effective way to make it work in your actual home. So please keep sending us your ideas. Just remember, AI has a magic button. Your contractor has a handy dandy toolbox. 🧰 🤪
