We're at Assumption Cemetery in Syracuse, NY, checking out our next project, which is going to take some time. The DiBartolo family monument is a large, multi-piece job that includes the family stone with a tall 6' sculpture on top, and several footstones, with years of mold and lichen covering everything.

If you've been following along this season, you may remember two of our more memorable projects, the Bersani-Variano monument with its beautiful ornate sculpture, and the Spensieri Mausoleum, with its impressive figure standing at the top. Both were an honor to work on.

Our next project has something in common with both of them, but we'll just give you one hint for now: there's another stunning adornment on top. We can't wait to show you the entire project!

A longtime customer reached out to us with something special. We had previously restored the painted the lettering on her parent’s headstone, but over the years, the artwork on both sides of the stone had faded, and she wanted it restored to honor their memory properly. This project took careful planning and prep work, as well as brining in local artist, Lisa of to bring the design back to life.

Watching it come together, start to finish, was a reminder of why we do this work. A headstone is more than stone. It's a family's story, and we're honored when someone trusts us to help preserve it.
