Spring is here and the air conditioning season will soon be upon us. Our busiest time of year is when people turn their AC on for the first time after the heating season and find out it does not cool. Be proactive and test your AC before you need it.

When you test your AC system, the outdoor temperature should be 70 degrees or higher and the air filter must be clean. Set the thermostat to COOL and set the temperature to 5 degrees below the indoor temperature. The indoor blower and outdoor unit should turn on within 0–10 minutes. After the AC has turned on you can determine if the AC is cooling by measuring the temperature of the air blowing out of the ducts, it should be 15–20 degrees lower than the room temperature. If you think your AC system is not cooling properly and have questions or want it serviced our number is 410-549-6700 http://comfortairmaryland.com/default.asp
