Sometimes a small change is all it takes to give your staircase a completely different look.

For this project, we left everything else as-is and simply swapped out the existing wooden balusters for round metal balusters. We didn’t change the handrail, treads, or newel posts.

If your staircase is in good shape but you’re looking for a more updated look, changing the balusters can make a big difference without having to replace the entire stairway.

Out with the old, in with the new.

You don't need a complete staircase rebuild to completely transform the look of your home. If your existing stairs are structurally sound but the railing system feels outdated, a railing renovation can make a dramatic difference.

For this project, we replaced the railing system throughout the staircase while preserving much of the existing structure. The first six treads were rebuilt to accommodate the new design, while the upper flight remained original with only the railing system being updated.

The result is a cleaner, more modern look that completely changes the feel of the entryway without the cost of a full staircase replacement.
