Sometimes one single image is all you need to show just how much thought went into a space. 🤎

The warm wood cabinetry. The woven pendants. That glossy backsplash catching the light. The oversized island that anchors the whole kitchen.

Nothing is fighting for attention, but every detail has a reason for being there.

And that’s really what we want a finished space to feel like. Thoughtful, layered, functional, and completely at home.

A fireplace has a way of setting the tone for the entire room. 🤎

We wanted this one to feel warm, neutral and easy to live with, but definitely not flat or boring.

The soft variation in the tile brings in texture, the offset pattern gives it just enough movement, and that chunky wood mantel adds the warmth we wanted against all of those lighter finishes.

Then came the styling. A little vintage-inspired artwork, aged brass, greenery and deeper earthy tones layered in to make the whole thing feel collected instead of overly styled.

Neutral can still have a whole lot of personality.

How it started vs. how it’s going. 🤎

The Sycamore Creek Project started with a completely blank space and a lot of decisions to make.

The Sycamore Creek Project. 🤎

We’ve shared a few little peeks along the way, but seeing this home completely finished is something else.

This project brought together warm wood cabinetry, soft neutral finishes, textured tile, natural materials, and just enough contrast to keep everything feeling fresh while still giving the home a sense of warmth and character.

The goal was never to make it feel overly trendy. We wanted it to feel collected, comfortable, and timeless, with details that would still feel right years from now.

And seeing all of those individual selections finally come together into one finished home is easily one of our favorite parts of the process.

Not to be dramatic, but… this is the kind of kitchen we get really excited about. 🤎

This Sycamore Creek lot has been such a good one from the very beginning, and seeing all of the planning, selections, finishes, and details finally come together makes this part pretty hard to beat.

Warm, layered, functional, and full of character—exactly the kind of space we love helping bring to life.

The full reveal is still coming, but there was absolutely no chance we were waiting that long to share a little peek. ✨

There’s beautiful—and then there’s beautiful and built around the way you actually live. 🤍

When we started the Amherst kitchen, the goal wasn’t simply to give this space a new look. We wanted to rethink the layout, improve the functionality, and create a kitchen that felt completely at home in this house.

Seeing the finished space is always rewarding. But hearing from the homeowners that it’s “everything I’d hoped for and more”?

That’s the part we’re most proud of. 🤍

You’ve seen little pieces of this kitchen along the way… now you finally get to see what we were working toward. 🤍

Meet the finished Amherst Kitchen.

This project is such a good example of why we love remodeling existing homes. The goal wasn’t simply to replace what was there with something newer — it was to rethink the space entirely and create a kitchen that felt like it truly belonged in this home.

We completely reimagined the layout, opening up the room and changing the way the kitchen functions. From there came the layers that make the space feel finished: beautiful cabinetry, warm finishes, traditional details and thoughtful selections that give this kitchen character without making it feel overly designed.

The result feels fresh and updated, but still warm, welcoming and completely at home within the rest of the house.

THAT is why we love what we do.

There is so much more from Amherst that we can’t wait to share — the transformation, the details and all of the decisions that brought this kitchen together.
