Making progress after two weeks. Installed retaing wall with geogrid, 4” drains, backfilled and tamped ready for asphalt.

Final grade was completed on this part of project and ready for top soil and seed.

Lower area. Gas, water and electric lines are in along with the main drain for the entire project.

Next, we will be grading pad areas to get ready for concrete , post footings, forms and trough drains.

We broke ground last week on this deck and retaining wall project in Mountain Top. We removed the old decking, concrete pad, old retaining wall making room for a larger more robust wall using 2’x3’x5’ precast concrete units.

New composite decking with matching trim, new black railings, new concrete pads with trough drain, low voltage lighting and the retaining wall will finish the first phase of this project.

The second phase will include a roof over the deck and a two car garage.

We completed this project in Dallas recently. Thank you Laura for letting us make it happen. New fieldstone walls with limestone treads, walks, and steps clad with fieldstone veneer. New low voltage lighting installed by ElectriTek Llc.

Once in a while we get a call for a project that takes us back to our beginning. This is one of those projects.

We tore down an existing stacked fieldstone wall and excavated the area. We will add limestone treads to finish the area off.

We also removed the existing sloped walkway to make room for new walks that will meet the new stairs to the driveway.

Lastly, we removed the crumbling front stairs and will be building a new set with block. New footings, limestone treads, stone veneer and vinyl railings will complete this project.

Here’s some insight on an upcoming project to commence mid July.

Large composite deck with black aluminum railings. We will install cap lighting on all of the railing posts. Down lighting will be added on all structural posts holding the deck upright. A lower level concrete pad with linear drains will also be added.

In addition, we will a be excavating a large area off the driveway and installing a temporary retaining wall for Phase II of this project .

Phase II will consist of a new foundation once we remove the retaining wall we installed during Phase I. A separate two car garage will be then be added at the end of the driveway looking over the pool area.

Finishing this project, we will install a roof over a portion of the new deck. Ceiling fans and low voltage lighting will complete the project
