One of the services we offer is property checks for vacation and permanent residents. We currently have a few openings if you wish to be added to our client list. If you are a snowbird with a second home in the area, be aware that frigid temperatures are now upon us.
We will check your home at your desired frequency to ensure that all systems are working properly, including, but not limited to, electric, heat, and water. We also offer checks during major weather events that occur outside of your normal schedule of house checks. This service is offered all year long, not only during the winter months and is tailored to suit your needs.
If you recall last December, we had unseasonably frigid weather. Many second homeowners arrived to their homes at Christmastime to discover busted water lines that had caused extreme damage in their homes, and then quickly learned that local plumbers were backed up with a large number of the same emergencies in the area. Don't let this happen to you!
If you are an owner who frequently enjoys your second home throughout the winter, we can also prepare your home for your arrival by turning up the heat, turning on the water, water heater, and outside lights, as well as making sure your entryway is free of snow and ice.
