I started Team Nelson Services in 2018 as a weekend side job. It didn’t take long to realize it could become something much bigger.
Most of my career before that was spent doing precision work in a body shop, where the fine details mattered. I knew that same attention to detail could carry over into tree work. I’ve always enjoyed being active, and the physical challenge drew me in. After years of working indoors, being outside was a welcome change.
Over the years, I’ve found a core group of men who stand beside me and help make this business what it is today. Steve, Derek, and Randy are great at what they do, friendly with our customers, and people I’m proud to have on my team.
Our skills and capabilities have grown tremendously. Today, we confidently handle jobs that, back in the beginning, I thought only seasoned professionals could tackle. It’s something I’m proud of—but what matters most is taking good care of our customers and giving them a great experience from the first phone call through the final cleanup.
Swanton, Ohio, is home. My brother Steve and I both graduated from Swanton High School, and I’m raising my family here today. Building a business in the community we call home means a lot to me.
I’m proud of what we’ve built, grateful for the people who have helped us get here, and excited to keep it growing.
Give us a call. Team Nelson Services can be your tree guys.
