Major renovation coming soon to this Swampscott home. Set in the historic Olmstead district, this project is all about creating a home that truly works for modern living, while respecting the character that makes these houses so special.

Our clients came to us needing a more functional first floor, including a laundry room, an additional bathroom, a dedicated home office, and an updated kitchen. Like many older homes in Swampscott, the existing layout wasn’t designed for today’s lifestyles. This isn’t just a floor plan refresh, it’s a thoughtful transformation of how the home functions, reworking the footprint while preserving the character that makes it so special.

Bringing a renovation like this to life takes careful planning and collaboration. Because the home is in a historic district, we worked with the Swampscott Historical Commission to secure approval, submitting detailed architectural plans and ensuring every element met their guidelines. It’s a process we know well, and one we’ve successfully navigated many times.
